This is essentially a CLV repackaging of the first 7 episodes onto a two disc set. The closed captioning for Episodes 1-3 is a transcription of the English dialog track and not an accurate translation of the Japanese dialog. The closed captioning on Episodes 4-7 is, however, an accurate translation of the Japanese dialog, as was Pioneer’s standard practice for their English Anime LaserDisc releases. This was an issue with the original English LDs for Tenchi Muyo Episodes 1-3 and was not fixed for this collection.
