This is the original telecast version and Contains the original voice-over of the President's radio address and announcer reading a list of reading materials about the nuclear issue sponsored by the American Library Association, which was part of the original telecast

This edition is time compressed to run in the time allotted.

The title card in the scene where we first see the McCoys, where he talking with his wife is missing (even the Korean DVD shares the issue).

In the original telecast, the end credits the disclaimer had a center paragraph that been ommited from all home video version of the film, including this laserdisc:

In it's presentation ABC has taken no position as to how such an event can be initiated or avoided
