All the night and underground scenes on this laserdisc are MUCH brighter (with colours and detail clearly recognizeable) than on both the Japanese Toho DVD as well as the American Classic Media DVD release.

DVD releases are pitch dark in said scenes, with no measure of brightening up the picture bringing them even remotely close to the brightness and clarity of the Japanese LD.
