This concert was re-released on DVD, and is widely considered to be the worst hatchet job of a LD->DVD conversion ever! The LD remains the definitive release of this show, though 2h20 was not the original length of the concert so some cuts must have been made.

There seems to be a lot of video grain and artifacts on the second side compared to the first side. Is your copy like this too?

To answer your question about the white speck at the beginning of side 2, yes, this is NOT laser rot. It is just a defect on the original video it was shot on or a production error of some sort. I just bought a factory sealed copy off ebay and it's a beautiful presentation, and the white speck goes away after a few minutes.
