In 1995 at the Stereophile Home Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, this disc, specifically the lift off scene, was used by DTS to demonstrate the sound quality of their Home DTS equipment. The moderator explained that with a good system you can actually hear the different thrusters, there should be 4 distinct low frequency tones. On lesser quality equipment it will blur into one low rumble.
