Though the film is Full Frame, it is in its proper aspect ratio. When the film was made, Walt Disney saw fit to make sure that as many movie houses as possible could screen the movie. So they made two versions. One for the then new CinemaScope format, and one in the Academy Ratio. This Full Frame version of the film is a transfer of the Academy Ratio version, not a cropped or Pan and Scan version.

The scanning made the gold under the Walt Disney Masterpieces logo look black.

This laserdisc never had an official recall, but it was missing some lyrics in the music and dialog of Aunt Sarah singing Rock-a-Bye Baby. When it was originally released, there was a replacement program where you could send in your laserdisc and get it replaced with a new laserdisc that had the sound corrected. However, most of the discs I have seen today still have the defective soundtrack, very few people replaced them.
