Edited from the back cover: "For this laser disc edition, Sunrise was digitally mastered and electronically restored in the original aspect ratio of 1.2:1 from a pristine 35mm fine grain master print.
A new score composed and conducted by Timothy Brock may be heard on the digital tracks.
A period score by Hugo Riesenfeld, recorded over telephone lines in Fox's new Movietone sound system from 1927 is on the analog tracks.
Supplementary material includes out-take scenes from the original film and passages of the original scenario written in blank verse by Carl Mayer, both in the English copy and in a German copy with annotations in Murnau's hand."
