 Additional Information by je280    20/09/2013

After being issued on laserdisc a number of times in various countries USA, UK, France & Japan this release (the last on laserdisc issue) was the first & only one presented in "widescreen" format - all previous editions were "pan & scan" & varied in quality from fairly good to pretty poor. The picture & sound quality on this edition is first class, very clean & sharp.

Howard Shore's (superb) music score is "isolated" on the analogue tracks. Chapter 52 is a 30 second trailer for TV (television spot) that appears to be a straight lift from an EPK (electronic press kit) with added voice-over at the end advising the viewer to "check local press for details". The picture on the rear cover is a production still of a scene during the final duel between Cameron and Revok where the top of Cameron's head explodes with sparks & flames. The scene was filmed but David Cronenberg chose not to use the it in the final cut.
