The opening credits state "The Cinemadisc Collection" although no mention is made of this on the jacket!

The anonymously written Liner Notes, as shown on the back jacket, get off to an awfully bad start. The first half of the first sentence claims the film was not only the “Winner of the Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival” but “also won the Grand Prize at the Venice Film Festival.” The film won a number of awards at the 1951 Venice Film Festival, but the “Grand Prize,” or Golden Lion, was not one of them. (Kurosawa won for RASHOMON.) The film won NO awards at Cannes, perhaps because it was never even screened there.
