This is the so-called "Director's Cut" of the film, which subtracts the voiceover narration and stupid happy ending from previous theatrical releases, and adds a brief scene involving a unicorn. However, this version is also missing some of the snippets of violence that the director wanted left in, and it is known that Ridley Scott is not done tinkering with the movie yet.

The disc is presented entirely in CAV format, which is fun for frame-by-frame manipulation of the special effects sequences, but leaves the movie with some terrible side breaks that cut right in the middle of scenes.
