Matted 'widescreen' presentation. All other 4:3 versions on LD are Open Matte. A comparison of the open and matted versions can be clearly seen when Dillon (Carl Weathers) has his left arm shot off by the Predator towards the end of the film. Open Matte versions show Weathers real arm strapped to his waist, over which a fake prosthetic arm has been applied. The matting on this 'widescreen' version masks the bottom of the frame, covering Weathers' real left arm.
