Even though this print is 2.35:1, it is still not the full panavision print that was seen in the cinema. The gatefold sleeve has an excellent rendition of the movie poster when you open the middle.

Film was not photographed in the anamorphic Panavision format. It was filmed "hard matted" at 1.75:1 for 35mm showings at that ratio, or at 1.85:1, and was blown up to 70mm for some engagements, which would have produced a 2.00:1 ratio (with some image loss). Laserdisc ratio is true to the 35mm flat source materials.
