Additional Information by joshzyber (1)   12/09/2002

This box set contains the second half of the second season of the legendary TV series Twin Peaks, all the way through to its mind-bending final episode.

The picture transfer is slightly better than the American laserdiscs, but is rather soft and not up to the quality of the best TV product available on disc. Japanese subtitles are present in the picture.

The box set is highly collectible for its fancy packaging and artwork, befitting the Japanese fan-crazy obsession with the show. Each disc comes in its own jacket with individual artwork. A booklet has also been provided with episode summaries (in Japanese) and a map of the Washington State area. The series was broken into three box sets. When placed side-by-side on a shelf, their spines form the circular image of a sawblade.

This third box set contains an additional 8" supplement disc called the "Clue to the Mystery". It is a bizarre Japanese program with 39 character profiles and a recreation of the series finale Red Room sequence enacted by paper cut-outs!
